Gosh, Pam, perhaps I'm carbon-dating myself or perhaps it was a Southern California/LA County thing, but I'm 99.9% positive that school started the Monday after Admission Day, the reason being that it was so close to Labor Day. My possessions which would clarify are snugly packed away. I do clearly remember that I graduated high school on the evening of June 18, the day of the week and the year being a closely guarded secret <g>, and this was also our very last day of classes. BTW, if anybody asks me my opinion (they seldom do), any human being who lasts to age 70 as a schoolteacher has earned a starring spot in Ripley's! I am now cranking up the Good Karma machine. Here's x6 again to you. Here's hoping everything's DUCKY! Holly D. p.s. TO ALL: When's the next SI party??!!
