Oh, boy. And the ones on the left just link to the ones they disagree with and criticize them because they are trying to be helpful and correct her mistakes?

Where did that come from? Did I say that? If I had an argument with that half, do you think I would have not said so?

I don't follow enough blogs to have an opinion on the substance of this matter. But I was struck with the pair of observations and her imputed explanation for each. Her observations may be correct for all I know. And her explanations may be correct, too. But I couldn't help but notice that she imputed a negative explanation to one and a positive one to the other and offered nothing whatsoever to back up her conclusions.

My experience with chatter on the right is that most of it is bonding, self-congratulatory, and utterly unreceptive to anything challenging. (For all I know, the same could well be true of the chatter on the left. Normal people, OTOH, engage normally.)
