El Philosopher,

Yeah I notice a lot of what you say right here on this side
of the river too.

Especially when I head upstate to the mountains.
The locals up there are very friendly once you get it into
their head that you are not their expected version of a
down-stater or city-slicker.

I've noticed especially the builders there don't care to be
rushed.

Down home time is money.
But up there they get annoyed with that type of attitude.

If you need help with something, they are more than
considerate.
They will really go out of there way to give you a hand
or find someone who can solve your problem.

I also see a lot of it around the Bronx here.
Everyone in these factories are anxious to help me with
stuff and know I can help them.

I still don't see the epiphany unless it has to do with not
worrying about saving up enough money to move to where the
folks are poor but happy.

I mean don't we already know it is better to get to know
all sorts of folks than just chase dollars?

Maybe I still don't get it.
