He's a sick man. He is also fairly tough. He survived the Nazi occupation and the Soviet occupation of Poland and remained a priest through the entire time. He hid Jews in his church during WWII and printed an underground newspaper during the Communist era...........He has done alot to fight corruption. I was glad he stood up against the Iraq war. He has been looking quite frail lately. I think it's time the church gets with the times and realizes that priests should be allowed to marry. Also............female pastors would be OK too like in other religions. But, the Catholic Church will take alot of time to change in that drastic a way. They have recently allowed married Anglican priests to become C atholic priests so the precedent has been set............but it'll be a while yet before those drastic changes are implemented.
