Well Palestine isn't a country, and Qatar's emir hasn't given up power. When the Qatari royal family gets the same oil revenue % as an ordinary Qatari citizen, then you can claim their is some democracy in Qatar. That is NOT the case today.

Put it this way, there has not been an orderly change of power in Arabia for 50 years. And that's actually a problem with the Iraqi elections as well - they let the interim rulers run, with all the unfair advantages implied in that.

If that were true, why do you think the right is so intent in driving the left into the ground?

You seem to be one of the many 3 standard deviations type on this thread. The vast majority of Americans don't have the issues with right and left that crop up on this thread. They'd rather watch the Super Bowl.
