I found a $40.00 error on my statement last month. It really pays to balance your account on a monthly basis imo.

As I told John earlier, to me that's not worth dealing with. I understand that it might be for you for any number of possible reasons. We all make choices based on how much our money, our time, and our peace of mind are worth to us. People are different.

The only caution I have is that often people do what they do out of habit or because they think they're supposed to. Some people never question. Sometimes when you do you realize that you're not serving yourself well. I cannot imagine ever looking back from my death bed wishing I had spent more time balancing my checkbook. Others may differ.

I think it's great that providers are now offering lots of different options rather than one size fits all. You get to do your thing and I can do mine. Customer service is a beautiful thing.
