I have posted example after example of "faint praise" and "yes, but," by them.

Faint praise of Bush, for sure. That's not the same thing as not being happy for the Iraqis on their vote. And that was the point of what I posted:

There's a failure on the right to differentiate between being excited for the Iraqis and praising Bush. You can be the former without being the latter. The Bushies are acting like the election somehow vindicates Bush re the Iraq war. It's called the halo effect. The left and the rest of us who were not proponents of the war know the difference.

It's true that the left isn't giving Bush the credit the Bushies think he deserves. But you can't fairly say that the left is not happy for the Iraqis.

It's not about America and it's not about Bush. Except to the hacks, of course, for whom everything is about Bush.
