I don't have a huge commute but apparently I drive over twice as much as you do. (the car is almost 10 years old and has around 100k miles)

I've never listened to a left wing show. Never ran across one. I've sampled some from the right only out of a need for cultural literacy

In general there is more of it from the right. On Sirius they have Two conservative talk stations (Patriot Radio, and Sirius Talk Right), two liberal (Air America, and Sirius Talk Left), and others like ABC News Talk, a couple of NPR stations, and non-political and non-news stations, like Sirius Talk, or the comedy channels. So you have more of a balance on Sirius then on conventional radio. XM is probably similar. In my limited experience it seems Air America is more prone to the hard left side, but perhaps that is just at the times I'm listening.

Tim, you must recognize that you and I are in the minority. It's not just liberals who expect health care to be provided for them.

If we are in a minority in resisting a national health care insurance scheme for everyone, its a pretty big minority. I think it might actually be a small majority. We might be in the minority in terms of resisting "creeping socialism" in medicine. The idea of socialized medicine would probably get voted down if it was directly voted on as one huge change, but each small step in that direction might win.

Alex Bennett went further then wanting national health insurance. He seemed to want "free" health care, food, and water, and possibly anything that could be considered a necessity (which might extend things to include housing, education, and in the minds of some people other areas as well) I don't think he is in the majority in going that far, at least I hope not.

Tim
