Riiight Kenneth. You speak, and it is all dishonor all the time. Despite that authoritative wisdom has long before Bush had it that social security would be insolvent by some estimates around 2030 (an estimate I distinctly remember you accepting), you are now claiming that everything was just fine until Bush passed his tax cuts, which also means you think if we repeal the tax cuts there would be no threat to SS.

Fine.

Tax cuts are philosophically correct and we need to begin from there, embracing that as an unquestionable assumption. I happen to think when folks work hard, they should keep their money-- almost all of it. So if Bush aims to reconstruct Social Security as part of a plan to save it from the effects of his tax cuts, the man is far more brilliant than ever I thought. We all need to reevaluate his economic leadership because so far, it has been stellar.
