Amy, Jim, your buddy Bush wants to cut future SS benefits to young people by 40%. The article said nothing about whether that cut is across the board, or only for those who chose to invest a part of their SS tax. Meanwhile, Sen. Charles Schumer came up with perhaps the funniest statement I've heard in a while: "The president has to decide whether he wants to take the lead in fixing Social Security or whether he wants to take the lead in effect destroying the most successful social program in history."
