Have you ever been to the Valley of Fire down by Vegas? A few years back I met a group of SI folk in Vegas and a couple of us went out to the Valley. It was very beautiful and had some interesting rock structures and Indian relics. We hiked around all day in various spots and enjoyed it greatly.

Mt WHeeler? I'll check it out online.

I am thinking about Whitney also...........have you climbed Whitney? Mt Wheeler must be almost as high as Whitney if it's another 3000ft above Rose.
