Did you see any of Bush's S of the Union? I caught part of it at the gym. Some of the GOP had stuck their index fingers in blue ink ala Iraqis and were waving them every time he said something innocuous. And then the funniest thing.........they gave him a standing ovation every time he said two sentences......literally. They would stand up, applaud, sit down, he would say two more sentences and they would standing applaud........seemingly all through the speech although I did not see it all. It looked like half the room was made up of jack in the boxes. H. Clinton looked thoroughly disgusted. <g>

That's the first time watching one......I know the blue ink thing was peculiar to this one. But I wonder if the non stop standing ovations are common.
