Schieffer hopes CBS can now refocus on being a news org

Interim "CBS Evening News" anchor Bob Schieffer says: "I'm deeply honored to be asked to do this, but this is not a new job, it's a temporary assignment. My job is to give everyone a chance to catch their breath and step back from all this and get back to work. This has been some pretty tough going for everybody." The 67-year-old newsman adds: "I hope I can help in getting us to refocus on being a news organization."
