Then you are wrong and I am prepared to prove it. I still have the PMs involved. I asked Admin to issue a warning and was flat out refused. In my account there is a folder named "SI Admin". In it is a PM that begins "Here's the issue." You have my permission to read it and to work back through that chain of PMs.

As to "grow up", I am asking for a set of rules whereby people may know in advance when they are safe and when they are crossing the line. If you read this thread, you will see that there are others who agree with me.

I have suggested 2 to you. One is to go back to Jill's approach where any profanity was banned, as was anything remotely resembling personal attack. Stock threads were for stock discussion and nothing else; getting off the stock thread topic was a violation. That works.

And the other is that if something has been posted on SI, it is forever available for quote and use. If the person now finds what they said 6 years ago embarrasing, they may apologize as adults (that's "grownups") and say they were wrong and view things differently.

But expecting us to read your mind or claiming you can read our intentions in posting a link is absurd.
