It seems to me the burden should be put on the person who posted their own name. If one opens an old post from "Bill" where I refer to my first and last name, I don't see why I should be protected from them using it, at any time.

Of course, if I wanted such protection, I should probably have to buy a brand new subscription so that my old posts can't be linked back to my current screen name. That seems a better solution than dragging you guys in for a ruling on every instance.
