Die Welt is sort of a German NY (ie New York) Post. Blistering attack? BFD

Back to the question. Europe's role with islam. What I am writing here, is my personal opinion - and that's what is expected I would assume. It's no answer to the "blistering attacks" etc.

First of all, I am a religious person. Religious in a generic sense, meaning I have deep respect for Islam. Before I even start talking about my ignorance about it (app I)

But - back to Europe. I'll make it simple - here's the situation.
a) a world religion with a protestant phase (shiite vs sunnites) but not yet as far as Europe after 30 years war (cuius regio, eius religio) plus French revolution (get religion tfk out of state matters - we're all equal and there's no need for God's interference) - again, a world religion at this state of affairs is getting ... used
b) there's Turkey (and let's forget Suleiman the Magnificent and who brought coffee to Viena. this is no issue) as double the border state (double: once to Iraq and once to Europe) with a suggestion for a post-a state (Ata Türk left his footprint of a secular state...)
c) time for some Realpolitik: how can Europe help stabilize the situation in the middle east and at the same time react to what is supposedly the offensive of militant islam? Answer: support Turkey. Get them in, give them a chance, an alternative.

back to blistering attack: what Germany got from Turkey in terms of emmigration (and possibly mutatis mutandis France from Maghreb etc) is definitely the lowest quartile of the human capital of Turkey.Turkey per se is lightmiles more "civilized" as Germany may think on the basis of the sample present here.

now to App I:

was in Q8, it was Friday and I was watching the big Mecca Mosque rituals. Decided to finally give Quran a chance - they have it in hotel rooms like Gideon bibles. Started page one, read it (OK), turned the page ... and the text just did not fit. Thought:look a them dodos, they can even put their own holy book together the way it is supposed to be.

Until I realized I'm reading it the wrong (WRONG, do you get it? WRONG) way.

Message: can't we just simply get along? What we got here, is a failure to communicate (KudoZ to US to come up with this wonderful realization)
