RAj,
GTE is on the trial with about 30 location in Irving, Texas. One of the location is in CompUSA retail store. Myself is working with Amati on the Overture 8 product. So far, it is incredible fast on the twisted pair when I and another friend hook this to the T1 LAN for the whole building. The Internet is a killer I tested, next two applications are video conferencinng and MPEG2 over IP( ADSL-to-ATM).

I am working with MCI and we are testing many ADSL vendors: you could choose from this list: Pairgain, Westell, and Amati.

Did you read the briefing.com news today, Westell is saying they will have a very big contract from RBOCs with many others ADSL firms.

If this is true, I don't think any reason why Amati could not have the big contract also??? Amati is a only company holding the ANSI ans ESTI standard for ADSL, can all the RBOC skip the standard??? And I think you missed the run up today. It closed at $16.375 and it is ran out of trading time. I expect thi stock to be close at least $17.75 or higher tomorrow and close @18-19 by week end.

Good luck,
Clint
