PRIVA'S ANTI-ALLERGEN PRODUCTS DOUBLE IN SALES
Priva Inc.'s sales of its laboratory tested, anti-allergen dust mite mattress encasings have doubled in sales over the last two months, when compared with the same two-month period in the previous year. To help better manage their patients' asthma and allergies, allergists in Canada are now recommending Priva's branded Zip & Block anti-allergen mattress encasings. Priva entered the allergy marketplace when it acquired a division of anti-allergen products from Quorum Pharmaceutical, a renowned anti-allergy drug company. Priva subsequently repackaged Quorum's anti-allergen products, implemented innovative fabric technology to the manufacturing process, and added enhanced features and benefits that now make the encasings the most effective in the marketplace, according to allergists in Canada.
David Horowitz, president and chief executive officer, stated: "Priva's Zip & Block anti-allergen mattress encasings are now available at quality retailers like Sears Canada and Sears USA as well as large reputable catalogue houses in the United States, including Hammacher and Schlemmer and Cuddledown of Maine. As a result we are on track to double our 2004 sales of this line of products from $400,000 to over $800,000." |
