Do you pay into the Medicare system now? Is there any way we can find out what States have opted out of SS for their employees....and instituted their own pension plan instead...?? Since State Employees are paid from taxpayers...it does seem wrong that just plain "working folks in private industry" have to support so many others.....Certainly without having equal access to paying into a decent pension plan.... Social Security is and never has been that...although some of the folks who went to sit at the feet of FDR statue today wouldn't tell the real truth about that, now would they???
