When does a liberal admit that they were wrong? Answer: Never. Actually, I hope all are doing well in this booming economy, with low inflation, lower mortgage rates, and rising employment. Even the stock market is resting after a very nice gain in 2004. Wasn't that election in Iraq inspiring? The Yahoo picture of the Iraqi women with an ink stained finger and a tear in her eye was the highlight. Freedom will shine on. Anyway, just came in for a quick read since this was a pretty lively place pre-election. In case you just stumbled in, here's a thread summary of the past few months: 1. Did Bush win? The dialog is similar pre-Nov. 2. They're STILL talking torture... 3. Not so much about ECONOMIC disaster.... 4. Illinois Senator already qualified to be VP....interesting 5. The Democratic party is still messed up......blame them and not their ideas for the losses in November. 6. Bush is still destroying the environment....or so says the NY Times 7. It's a wonder that we haven't all been fired, choked on pollution, and starting a war with Iran by now. Chicken Little was wrong and so are the Dems. The sky isn't falling, and of course Social Security is FINE! Just ask Teddy.
