Here's the definition of fascism:

"A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism."

Fundamentalist Islam fits perfectly. OBL wants the return of the caliphate.

Actually, you are not reading your definition very closely. Its starts out by saying "a system of gov't". That is a key condition under fascism. OBL does not head up a nation state with a system of gov't. Hence your analogy dies in the first three words of the definition.
