why has the Sec. Council not called for intervention in the Sudan?

In a juxtaposition that you should truly enjoy. It comes down to what the meaning of is is.

Because the French who have major oil drilling contracts in Sudan, The Russians who are supplying most of the weapons for genocide to Sudan, and the Chinese who are benefiting from the Sudanese oil contracts they have all blocked the use of the word genocide in the UN report on Darfur. If the G word was used then sanctions would be required. By preventing its use, they can keep on collecting blood money.

As usual you were right on. who controls the purse strings of the UN and determine its course of action. But as usual, you inferred that the problem was the US, when as in the past the problem is the morally bankrupt Axis of Weasels, France, Russia and China.
