On 27 January in 18:00 power consumption in the system JOINT STOCK
COMPANY of "Mosenergo - Moscow Regional Administration of Power System
Management" were 14 727 MW, dostignuv of its maximum during entire history of the work of energy
company. For coating of the increased consumption JOINT STOCK COMPANY of
"Mosenergo - Moscow Regional Administration of Power System
Management" were forced to stock up about 1 750 MW on the wholesale
market for electric power and power.
Consumption of electrical power in g. To Moscow and Moscow region it reached record value - in the absolute
numbers the index of past year was exceeded on 881 MW or almost 6,5%. Thus, during January the maximum level of the power consumption of Moscow
region exceeded the available power of the power stations of region
(14 213 MW). Until recently the absolute maximum of power consumption in the system
JOINT STOCK COMPANY of "Mosenergo - Moscow Regional Administration of
Power System Management", fixed on 24 December, 2002, were 14 230 MW.
If soon weather in g. To Moscow and the Moscow area will not become warmer, it is very probably, that the "record" of load will be beaten again. According to the information of Moscow regional supervisory control, the possibility of increasing the load of more than the current
maximum will be preserved to the middle of February.
An increase in the power consumption sharp reduction in the
temperature in the capital region influenced. However, the establishment of new "record" occurred not only because
of the cold weather. Yearly increase in the energy consumption in the Moscow region
comprises on the average of about 5%. Today the reserves of power system of the power are exhausted. However, the existing level of tariffs on the electric power does not
make possible FOR JOINT STOCK COMPANY of "Mosenergo - Moscow Regional
Administration of Power System Management" to accomplish construction
of new power, adequate to an increase in the energy consumption.
JOINT STOCK COMPANY of "Mosenergo - Moscow Regional Administration of
Power System Management" conducted in 2004 complex preparation for the
autumn-winter period, thanks to which the power system ensures the steady power supply of
its users. In the period of winter frost in the system it occurred not one
serious incident. At the same time Moscow power system today works on the limit of its
possibilities, and for the development of the generating power additional financial
resources are required. |
