SR, I said I would not discuss politics on this thread, and I will keep my word.

As far as Christianity goes, I do not agree with you. Christianity has had a resurgence of the faithful, and as their numbers grow, they may have an influence on the outcome of elections, but that is what a democracy is all about. No religious group has any hold on the government, and with the divergence of beliefs in this nation, never will.

I believe that your paranoia is working overtime.
