And if Bush does try to invade anywhere else, the opposition will melt away in a day or two, then pin down another 100,000 US troops in an endless guerrilla meatgrinder.

The political, economic and human cost on top of what we already wasted in Iraq would be staggering.

But Bush just might do it - he's a "transformer" detached from reality.
