While a few companies waited until after the bell to relay forecasts of charges and below-expectation results, most of the news came from companies that had halted their stock and did not generate price fluctuations... ... JPM Co (JPMX), which makes cable assemblies and wire harnesses for the computer industry, predicted below- expectation fourth quarter results late on Tuesday, while software maker GeoScience (GSCI) forecast a loss from operations. Both companies' stock was halted.
