What are the odds of this occurring by accident?

The names? or the conceptions?

The probabilty of any random occurance of 3 events is

3 (possible orders for the 1st event)
2 (for the second since one has already been assigned)
1 (for the last one )

so the number of ways it could be ordered is 3 * 2 * 1

also known as 3 factorial. The probabily of 1 particular
order is 1/ (3 * 2 * 1 ) or 1/6

- It's unlikely that births and names occur at random so
this probability does not apply.
