It seems to me that the probability of the first child's name starting with the correct letter would be 1 in 26. For it to occur correctly in the next two births would seem to me some multiple of this. I guess I am trying to show that it would be highly unlikely that it occurred by chance, but rather it was chosen whether consciously or unconsciously.

Perhaps something along the order of 1/26 x 1/26 x 1/26. I am sure that it probably not this simple.<g>

Perhaps I didn't express myself well in the first post.

As I said, I haven't studied this for over 25 years.
