I'm thinking of buying a new Dell desktop from dell.ca but I'm not too impressed with their "free upgrade" on various components. Up until yesterday, they were offering a free upgrade to 1gb memory on the desktop 4700; supposedly a $200 value. But I want 2gb. I had to pay an extra $600 for 2gb. It should only be an extra $400. It doesn't reflect the free upgrade ($200) to 1 gb. members.shaw.ca Today, they no longer have the free upgrade to 1gb, and sure enough, 2gb is still and extra $600. members.shaw.ca
