My guess is perhaps we have a lot more off the books jobs now than ever tied to all areas of housing construction, repair and remodeling as well as and small one and two person service businesses that cater to the elite in our new ownership society. More cleaning ladies, lawn service, sprinkler repair ect... exacerbated by the new wave of immigrants.
