I'm along for the ride on GW. Bot @ 5.60.

Been thinking about uranium fundamentals. After thinking and reading about global climate change, and seeing the skeptics' rear guard positions slowly retreating, I'm thinking that there is going to be a renewed interest in nuclear power over the next several decades. At this point, there is not the political will at the top to make renewables a sufficient contribution to the energy mix. By the time that will emerges, I think it will be too late to build the science and infrastructure fast enough to avoid nuclear power. As species disappear, droughts take hold, and catastrophic floods happen with increasing frequency, even environmentalists will have to very reluctantly accede to nuclear power. I don't think it's that far off: just a few years before the rush is on. So it's time to start thinking about uranium stocks. I think this might be part of the fundamentals behind the recent uranium price rise, and the rush in uranium stocks recently. Anyone have any good ideas in this sector?
