Kel, there was a report today that described the dire condition of Q - 15 billion in debt, mainly landline in USwest territory, falling behind in upgrading. Article said best thing Q could do would be either 1) combine with MCIP or 2. declare bankruptcy, wipe out its debt (ala WCOM) and emerge as a much more attractive buy out candidate.
In its present form, even though it is the RBOC for 16 western states, it is quite unpallative, given the current trends away from land lines and debt. So..... even though the chart looks great, and its involved in a potential take-over as a suiter, i decided to take my profits. I just don't like the company but felt at $4 it was an attractive gamble. i cashed in my chips. larry
