Israel is the most expansionist country in the Middle East, moreso even than Iraq under Saddam.

Iraq under Saddam invaded and tried to conquer other countries, it did conquer Kuwait even if it was later pushed out. I don't think Saddam's intentions where to take over all of Iran but he did conquer more area then the area of the West Bank and Gaza (of course he was kicked out of that as well).

If Israel were a democracy, then the population in the Israeli occupied territories (which we refer to as Palestinian refugees) would be allowed to vote, right?

They did vote, in Palestinian elections. They would only get to vote in Israeli elections if the land was annexed to Israel and they became Israeli citizens which isn't going to happen. Arabs who are Israeli citizens do get to vote.
