Platform ain't the problem. Brokers become fat hogs in bull markets- -and homeless bums in bears. A strictly stock site could DIE in a bad bear market. Plenty have. And those brokers and traders might not be willing to pony for just a stock talk site- -especially when things are tight. And they might not do it anyway- -they read these crazy political hassles when things are quiet. What if they have to pay extra to get to them? The only reason for breaking up the site would be to charge for each piece. And the politicos- -they read the stock threads too. What if they can't without paying extra? Will they join at all? You got competition and it's FREE. Yahoo has boards for stocks and stocks boards that have turned into political war zones. Dont forget that.
