12 of our Iraqi allies where killed. Getting our asses kicked would be having entire main force units getting wiped out. If 10,000 Americans get killed in a week and the Green Zone gets overrun and controled by Islamofacists or Baathists then you could say we got our asses kicked. 12 soldiers getting killed doesn't even make for losing the war much less getting our asses kicked.

Getting our asses kicked means we don't have control of the country; it means that people are not even safe in the heavily protected US Green Zone from rockets and suicide bombers, it means that the Baghdad airport can not have commercial traffic because its too dangerous; it means that we clear out one problem area...Fallujah.....only to have it all move to a second......Mosul; it means we have to bring in 20k more troops on top of the current 135K in order to have an election and even then, people are killed; it means the road from the airport is one of the most dangerous in the world; it means that over 200 foreign contract workers have been executed in the last year; it means that over 1k American soldiers are dead and 10K are seriously maimed; it means that we have no idea when we can exit the country; it means we have spent nearly $300 billion and the country is not secure.

Don't tell me what "getting our asses kicked" means...........I am not a GOP stooge. I actually do think and figure things out without listening to doublespeak from Bush or Fox News.
