Famous royalties like Ferdinand and Isabella as well as possibly Columbus spoke Ladino. Cervantes wrote his Don Quixote in Ladino. Were they all Jewish? That I don't know and I don't believe anybody knows for sure either. I mean, what is it being Jewish? The classic definition is that you mother was Jewish but besides that...
