I was thinking of a different problem, sort of like trying to figure out which boyfriend is the father of which child.

In your problem the letter patterns are a bit less random than in the one I assumed. There are more distinct rules in English to make a word than just the random combination of 3 initial letters.

It does illustrate why a value based on statistics is nearly useless if the actual problem isn't very very clear.
