Terry, Re: This is not the sort of thing that fuels sustained rallies, rather more like a quickly patched-together half-baked "explanation" of an unexpected event (Friday's trading). This is the sort of talk that tends to fuel bull trap moves, so I suspect we will see some retail-driven follow-through on Monday. But then, the professionals will take charge. I was watching and joking about my all red pre-market streamer on Friday morning and the QQQQ was showing fairly large size blocks on the sell side going off for the last hour before the bell. I call this a short market delight. Do you have any idea what time the “weak job growth figures” news and the “tobacco news” stories hits the wires? Undoubtedly that is what turned the markets to bullish on a dime. As I’ve always stated, “news trumps T/A every time”. That is why I always run the NASDAQ streamer or 2 and 5 minute RT charts during the day. Reid
