However, the broader issue argued between you and Elroy is whether or not Israel is a democracy. No, the broader issue is where do Israel's borders exist? And what are Israel's obligations to the people that have lived within those borders for their entire lives? That's a much more important issue than figuring out how democratic Israel is to Israeli passport holders (a subset of the population). Sorry but they are the same thing. How democratic Israel is to the people within its jurisdictional control whether they are passport holders or not is the important issue.
