Yes, If you don't respect them, you can get bit... It is amazing how many people crash at about the 2nd month of ownership. There is a lot to learn. Glad you survived it.... I love bikes, but I never encourage anyone to get one. My Dad was a professio nal motorcycle racer in the 50's. He wouldn't let me have a street bike until I was out of his house... We still ride together all the time, and hope to for a long while... Did you The Motorcycle Diaries? Excellent film.
