Ted, Remember....courts not only interpret the law but they lay the groundwork for new law to be created. Think in terms of Roe vs Wade.

Wow, I think this is the first time you've admitted that the courts are attempting to write new law, or at least lay the groundwork for it.

What? I have always said that. Do you not remember the arguments I had with DR? Of course, the courts help create new law.....it was the intent of the FF. It is basic to our democracy.

I can't believe you thought I believed otherwise.

Don't take this the wrong way, since I realize many think that's the way it should be. I don't, but at least we can frame the debate properly from this point on.

See...this the crux of the problem.........the FF set things up this way in order to make for a well balanced, working democracy.

P.S. - As for Rossi, like I said before, he should give it up unless he can think of a better argument than a "revote."

The war Rossi is waging in WA state is being run by Rove and company back in DC. He sent his attorneys out weeks ago. They refuse to back down. They are looking for a new tactic to fight this battle.
