tejeck, you want to compare the Mexicans and Americans to Palestinians and Jews. I think it is a farfetched and ridiculous comparison. The Mexicans are our friends and peaceful neighbors, although we did have some settling pains in the past.

But what the heck, I'll bite. But to make your comparison more accurate, I have to make some additions. Lets say the U.S. declared its sovereignty after having lost 6 million people in a purge by the Nazis, and furthermore the American race had been persecuted in the civilized world for 4,000 years. Then let's say the Mexicans had been allied with the Nazis in that purge of Americans. Let's also say that the Americans had been industrious in the new land and with their hard work had acquired enough money to buy all of California and Texas from the Mexicans who owned them. So they were legitimate legal owners of those lands. Lastly, let's say along the Rio Grande in Texas there were large hills and cliffs overlooking Texas cities. Now we have a setup that's similar to the Jews in Israel. Everything above is perfectly analogous to what the Jews went through in Israel.

So with this in context, the Mexicans decide that there is no way in hell they will allow the U.S. to declare sovereignty with lands that include California and Texas, despite the fact that those lands were purchased by Americans legally. In fact, Mexicans hate Americans so much, they can't stand the idea of having to live side by side with them. Mexicans want to continue to exterminate the Americans as they had when they were allied with the Nazis. So they launch a war of extermination in Texas. The first thing they do is start lobbing bombs into Texas cities from the Rio Grande heights (similar to the Golan Heights near Israel).

The Americans, outgunned and out manned, fight back and fight back hard. They push the Mexicans back and take the Rio Grande Heights and other strategic positions that the Mexicans had used during the war. The conflict lasts 6 days, but the American victory is so complete, the Mexicans are humiliated and will chalk that up to one more thing they can hate the Americans for, in addition to the mere fact that they exist.

So what would I do? I'd do the same thing. I'd kick the Mexicans out and then take the strategic areas like the Heights, so that the Mexicans can't have strategic advantage again. If we experience terrorism, I'd feel completely justified in crushing the insurgency relentlessly. In fact, I'd build a big and tall wall to keep the murderers out. If the Mexican residents found it impossible to overcome their hatred of us Americans, I'd pass a law compensating them for their land and kick them out of our country. Lastly, I'd redraw the borders to what is defensible and then I'd arm the borders to the teeth and brutally crush any attempt to cross those borders.

Does that answer your question?
