Idon't disagree that it may need reform. I think the thing that is of concern is how much it is going to cost initially and then the sanctity of lack thereof of the stock market. I personally have sustained over a million dollars in losses following the advice of financial advisor's IN the market and other investment tools. There are a lot of con men out there who are willing to give advice.
This is why you don't listen to them, pay no attention to them, do your own research, and make your own decisions. There always have been and always will be sharks out there. Man is not perfectible.

I had always hoped that there was integrity in the government managing my money.. T Bills, Bonds etc.
Umm, these are the guys who brought you the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, 15% inflation a few decades back, and are perfectly willing to redeem yor T bills with inflated dollars. And whose main concern is keeping the largest least common denominator from throwing them out of office.

And you're going totrust THEM? Are you serious?

"That government is best which governs least." ~
Henry David Thoreau

Surely you approve of Thoreau?
