This is one of your posts you touched the key reality, IMO.
Unlike some other posters here, at least you are more straightforward about admitting to be a Zionist. Some people have a clear speech and behavior as a Zionists, but when you ask them whether he/she is a Zionist, the person only gives you a “yes or no” answer.
As for whether Zionism is positive or negative, that’s another matter. I have discussed the issue with a few of posters before. I do not plan to repeat it here for now.
>>...whips-up anti-Semtic sentiments simply because of what happens to Israel.<< One thing I should let you know, I’m not a Jews-hater or Arab-lover. But like most people, I support justice and peace for the world we are living in. When I sometimes criticize Israel I do not point at the whole Jewish people. I believe the majority of Jewish people are good people.
On the other hand, I believe the Israeli Likud party is leading Israel to a very dangerous direction with its aggressive policy, dangerous to both the world peace and to Israel’s own future. It's not a "whips-up anti-Semtic sentiments" by an individual, but simply a natural action and reaction at work on the world stage. The international situation today perhaps has made you and many of your Jewish friends realize the serious danger. We can see more rational Jews nowadays voice strong opposition to Israel and neocon’s aggression policies. Many of them do so because they care about Israel’s future. To fundamentally solve the problem of your concern, you should join the rational Jews' move rather than telling the others not to react. Or the situation could only get worse, as I can see.
God bless the world, Jews included.
