I totally understand that SSI is paid from general funds, BUT it is administered by the 65,000 employees of SS.....Which if you read the links, you will see. Who pays the employees, SS or SSI?????

IF you have paid into SS, it IS your issue as well. If not, did your "Government Department" opt out?

BTW, if you want a civil discussion as you've said so often, you might consider changing your tone. You seem to be the one who is getting piffy about it....
