yeah nothing happened. You can't really attribute a one day close to a lockup. If these lockups were having an effect, we wouldn't be trading where we are now. I know one thing, CSFB put out a report on earnings day that the lockup expiry (and its affect on google float) would be "negligible". Given that they are an IB assisting in placing all these GOOG shares which are supposed to be available after feb 14, I think they would know whether we are going to get a flood of stock or not. Otherwise they'd have egg on their face with a PR like that.
