No, of course I didn't read the book. And I am no longer adopting books, because I cannot give the ones I have enough time and attention. I do want to rent the movie.
Today I washed, dried and folded seven loads of laundry, went grocery shopping at four different stores (because they all have different things I need), looked for a Valentine's gift for Mr. Grainne, washed and conditioned three dogs, did the dishes four times, spent an hour-and-a-half chopping stuff for potato salad, watched The Commitments, one of my very favorite movies (while drying dogs, though), and made bread. Okay, in the bread machine, but it was a very complicted recipe that required cooking ten grain cereal and letting it cool for an hour before even getting started on the bread.
I would love to read more, but am just overwhelmed with the things I must do to keep a household going. And I am sure I have it easier than many, many people.
