The Power Computing Move

Bill, I to worry about what Apple will do with Power Computing since I just purchased one of their clones. I hope they can provide upgrade paths to these clones and not leave it to 3rd party vendors. It is extremely difficult to get upgrade cards/boards because:

1. They invariably become very expensive
2. Demand sometimes outstrips supply or supply becomes non-existant
3. Apple has had a tendency in the past to dump upgrade availiblity on older models.

Hopefully, Apple will learn from its past mistakes. I do agree with you it is easier to upgrade a PC clone machine compared to anything else.

Also, ignore other posters criticizing your ideas. I'd rather read comments giving constructive critism about companies rather than sit in a love-fest. I can only agree to this if a poster becomes abusive in language or intent. I can't understand why people would want to shut another user down especially if their ideas are not the same. Totaly lack of civility gives a board a bad name.

On the positive, this month should become interesting when we see the first developer's release of Rhapsody. (crossing my fingers on this!).
