There are two main problems with Behe's theory of intelligent design.

1) It's impossible to find any evidence of an Intelligent Designer. We have zero evidence of a Prime Mover. No mold marks. No hammer marks. No stamps. No initials carved into things. No "Kilroy was here" graffiti.

2) Behe's "proof" of Intelligent Design is that present day scientists can't explain how some things evolved. But in the years since he wrote his book, scientists HAVE demonstrated how some of the things he posited were the results of intelligent design are easily explained by evolution.

Basically, proof of his Intelligent Designer exists only in the gaps that science hasn't got a good explanation for YET. He's got zero proof, zero evidence, he just says, "we're stumped. Must have been done by an Intelligent Designer."

I will leave out the problem of who designed the Intelligent Designer if he doesn't claim that God's involved somehow.
