From what I have read, Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard (TANG) has been the subject of intense scrutiny since he first ran for governor in Texas. How long ago was that? 20 years? (Edit: 1994 was the first election. I thought he ran for something earlier than that.) I agree it's a fit subject for scrutiny. I hope you agree that it's not appropriate to invent documents in order to come up with a story.
